We Went Out Last Night

hoping for a hoppin night on the town.
Frist the plan was to go see John Allred in Provo.
Yeahhhh... he wasn't actually performing.
Then we thought, hey we can go to a coffee shop and listen to an open mic night.
Yeahhhhh... the coffee shop I looked up doesn't exactly exist.
So we went to an Asian store.
and I gave Buddha a titty twister....
is that bad luck?
I hope not.

We were sitting at a stop light and we saw some kids pull into Little Caesars on their bikes.
LIGHT BULB.
I jumped outta the car and on to one of the bikes.
I rode around the building a few times, and hurt my thighs.
That bike seat was MESSED up.
Then they came out, their pizza in hand, very confused.
They were like "dude what happen..."
I rode up and said "Hey I just wanted to take you bike for a spin!"
and gave it back.
They just said "ok cool."
I jumped back in the car and off we drove.

We continued our night of shenanigans.
Things I will not mention here.
But we had fun.

New Years is tonight.
What are y'all doin?
I'm going to the tabernacle to listen to the Nashville Tribute band and Dyer Highway.
It's free and starts at 10:40
So if you have no plans, come.
It's gonna be great!

My Mom Drops Me Off At Day Care

That's not just a clever title....
It's true.
Over winter break I've been going to day care.
I'm the biggest kid there and I have a lot of fun.
It's a pretty rad job.
I decided one day I need to take my make-up bag with me to work and let the kids go at it on my face.
They can mostly, somewhat, kind of stay in the lines when they color.
And to be frank, I'm sick of doing my own make up.
Seems like a good thought out solution to me.
Winter break has been good.
Family fun.
Temple Square.
Christmas treats.
Relaxing.
Reading.
Shopping.
Wedding receptions.
Dance concerts.
Visiting friends.
Country concerts.
Running around like a turkey without a head.
Brother bonding time.
Sister bonding time.
Working.
Laughing.
Psych marathons.
ect. ect.
Me and Rachie Poo at her dance concert

I'm a ture friend.... I watched the whole thing even though it was the Nutcrakcer ;P
hahaha jk... a little. I love you Rach and you are a beautiful dancer!

Dyer Highway and Charley Jenkins concert.
AMAZING :)

I promise we really did have fun. Or at least I did :)
Like I said it was a really good concert, I will be talking more about it on http://myloveaffairwithcountry.blogspot.com/ when I get time to sit down and write about it.
So keep checking in on it :)

Funniest Text of the Year

Last night Kenz and I made the long trek home for Winter break.
But before we could we had to check out with our RA.
She made sure there was no food left in the fridge that would rot {the power is going to be turned off}.
Which is smart, because we're good at letting our food mold.
The only thing of mine that was still safe to eat after Kenz cleaned out the fridge was my mayo and mustard.
So of course I packed it up to go home.
I can't waste food like it's oxygen.
We loaded the car up with all of our junk, some of it ended up getting mixed in with each other’s belongings.
On the way home I looked and Kenz and said:
"Uh oh! We forgot to take my burrito out of the freezer!"
"EWWWWWWWWWWWW"
Then we couldn't stop laughing and imagining how awful that was going to be.
I just pictured this really fuzzy green burrito.
Yikes!
Then we devised a plan, when we got back we'd just throw the fridge away and just hope it hadn't made our room stink.
It seemed like the only logical thing to do.
We didn't want it to infest everything else.
But then we got smart and realized we could just text our RA and ask her to take it out for us.
YAY for brains that work!
When we got home Kenz helped me bring in all my junk.
I walked into my room and I saw a skirt on my bed that wasn't mine.
My first thought was, "hey mom went shopping and bought me something."
Then I realized I'd seen it before.
I texted Kenz:
"Hey I think I have your skirt..."
Her reply:
"Haha I thought so! And I have your condiments!"
Good trade for me eh?
Mayo and mustard for a skirt.
I don't mind if I do.
On the road again

This is About how I Feel Right Now...

GRRRR!
BLAH!
UUUUGGGGHHHHHH!!!
{Insert other exasperated sounds here}
Why is it that I can take all of my 'hard' finals with ease and then when I get to my 'easy' final I fall apart all over the place.
Just some background info for those of you at home who don't know what University 1000 is.
I will tell you.
It is misery at its finest!
It's just a bunch of busy work.
The workbook is BS because you can just write song lyrics in it {mine is a tribute to Garth} and your teacher will flip through the pages and see that there is ink on the pages and you pass.
THAT IS THE FINAL.
How can I fail at that?
Well I needed a print out of next semester’s schedule...
I realized this when I woke up, tried printing it out.
Wouldn't work.

I got fed up and took Kenzie's schedule that was taped to the wall.
I ran across campus to the class room and NO ONE was there.
I wondered around aimlessly for a bit until a lady directed me where to go.
Bless her heart.
Then after being there for far too long I found out MY final is tomorrow.
I have to go back!
Rock on!

So here's to final's week!
I thought I got passed you stress free, but you wouldn't have it.
You win; now please let me go home.

PS after all this happen I devised a plan where someone at home got seriously ill and Kenz and I had to leave immediately and they would have to flip through our workbooks today and send us on our way.
It would have worked, but it started getting complicated and we would’ve had to let all the animals in the zoo out to create a distraction.
So I will be patient and not act like a three year old and stomp my feet {even though I really want to}
I will cope by changing the thermostat to 45 degrees and listening as my roommates freak.
That always uplifts my mood.
Hope your Wednesday is better than mine!
{It is Wednesday, right??}
Love you all :)
